Expectations vs Reality

So when Erin and I ventured away from Lochmara, we had a whole set of possibly somewhat unrealistic expectations of the way things were gonna go down from there. I mean, Lochmara only gave us 4 days to find a new job and a new place to live and only an hours worth of internet and no more hours of work before releasing us back into the real world, what could we have really hoped would happen?

For starters, we assumed we would get jobs right away. Come to find out, it's not that easy. I guess we just really lucked out with Lochmara, becasue no one else is hiring.

And then we thought, "well, hey we will get jobs right away and be super rich!!" Funny how things work out.

Following our expectations of riches, we assumed we would be able to eat healthy and/or eat whatever we want whenever we want. Fortunately for us, we really like baked beans from the can.

Not only did we think we could eat what we wanted, we also thought we would find a nice little flat with some cool roomies and be livin large. Reality: the field we currently live in is pretty large I guess. Our tent, however, is not.
Reality bites.
